SUMMARY OF ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR UPCOMING EVENTS

Due to the challenges of COVID-19, there have been a number of significant changes to our programs for the year. Kindly take note of the following announcements from the desk of Apostle JFK Mensah.

The Mission

With 2 Timothy 2:2 as our watchword, we believe that disciples are made by Christlike disciples, and are not just born. CDM members commit themselves to growing in Christlikeness and producing at least one Christlike disciple-maker yearly.
ANNOUNCEMENTS ON UPCOMING EVENTS
  1. RESIDENTIAL CDMBC SESSION • The residential CDMBC Session has been postponed until further notice. The next E-CDMBC Session will be from 18th - 31st October, 2020. It will be the final session for the year.

    We are believing that our residential Bible Colleges will resume from January 2021, Godwilling. 


  2. CDMBC GRADUATION • The CDMBC Graduation Ceremony will be held at the CDM Retreat Center on Saturday, 5th September, 2020.  The deadline for submission of documents is now 15th August, 2020.

    All those intending to graduate should therefore (a) send their documents to cdmbcprojectworks@gmail.com and (b) contact the Registrar (0244406159/0200780998) for payment of graduation processing fees and further steps. 


  3. CDM MAJOR RETREAT 2020 • The CDM Retreat will be held at the CDM Retreat Center:  
                
    DATE: Thursday 10th September - Saturday, 12th September, 2020 
    THEME: Multiplying Christlike Disciplemakers (Acts 6:7) 
    RATE: FREE (By kind courtesy of donations from the partners in the CDM Financiers Program)

    A skeletal team of leaders will be officially invited to participate in a residential session. Additionally, 10 residential spaces will be allocated to the best disciplemakers, assessed by Quality and Quantity of their disciples. To apply for one of these spots, please contact Ps. Desmond and Boison who will head the Assessment Team at angmorteyboison@gmail.com.

    However, plenary talks will be streamed live on the CDM Facebook page (www.facebook.com/cdmworld) for all disciplemakers and disciples to participate in the retreat online. Online platforms will be used for small group discussions, spiritual growth clinics, and any other non-plenary activities.

    All disciplemakers must register themselves and their disciples by 10th September, 2020 in a document that will be circulated by CDM Admin. This is critical to help us account for our total numbers and geographic spread, as we all know the challenges we are facing this year.

    The schedule for the Retreat will be prepared and disseminated on CDM Platforms as soon as it is ready, to assist all in planning.
