2026 NEW YEAR MESSAGE

Spreading Christlikeness worldwide.

Beloved brothers and sisters of the Christlike Disciplemakers Movement,

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

As we stand at the threshold of a new year, our hearts are lifted in deep thanksgiving to God for His unfailing faithfulness throughout 2025. “Thus far the LORD has helped us” (1 Sam. 7:12). We did not arrive here by human wisdom, strength, or strategy, but by mercy, grace, and divine enablement. God sustained the Movement, preserved the vision, strengthened our leaders, and continued to form Christ in us—even through pressures, transitions, and hidden battles.

"We did not arrive here by human wisdom, strength, or strategy, but by mercy, grace, and divine enablement. God sustained the Movement, preserved the vision, strengthened our leaders, and continued to form Christ in us—even through pressures, transitions, and hidden battles."

Gratitude for 2025

In 2025, the Lord continued His quiet but powerful work among us. Christlike disciples were formed, leaders were strengthened, the Word was faithfully taught, prayer was sustained, and the Gospel advanced through both training and missions among the unreached people groups of Ghana and Nigeria. We thank God for every life transformed, every disciple nurtured, every act of obedience offered in simplicity and faith. Heaven alone will fully reveal the fruit of what was sown in obedience this past year (1 Cor. 3:6–7).

A Sobering and Hopeful Evaluation

Yet Scripture teaches us that thanksgiving must walk hand in hand with spiritual evaluation. “Let us search and examine our ways, and turn back to the LORD” (Lam. 3:40). As leaders and members of CDM, we must ask not only what did we do, but what did God desire to form in us?

• Have we grown deeper in Christlikeness, not merely in activity?
• Have our Bible Schools continued to raise men and women of truth, character, and obedience?
• Have our missions efforts remained anchored in prayer, holiness, and dependence on the Spirit?
• Have we guarded our first love while carrying growing responsibilities?

These questions are not condemnations; they are invitations to maturity. God is faithful not only to use us, but also to perfect what concerns us (Ps. 138:8).

2026: A Sacred Year – 20 Years of Grace

We now enter 2026 as a milestone year—marking 20 years since the birth of the Christlike Disciplemakers Movement in 2006. This anniversary is far more than a celebration of longevity; it is a spiritual memorial. We are halfway into our 40-year target for finishing the task. Like Israel’s stones by the Jordan (Josh. 4:6–7), it calls us to remember what God has done so that future generations may know, fear, and obey the Lord.

Over these 20 years, God has faithfully woven together:
• A living disciplemaking movement,
• Bible Schools established in 2011 to preserve doctrine and raise leaders,
• Missions among unreached people groups, launched in 2020 with NASPIM and continuing with urgency and faith.

These streams have run together by divine design. And now, in 2026, the Lord is not calling us to look back in nostalgia, but to look forward in renewed obedience.

A Call to the Whole Movement

As we prepare for the 20th Anniversary Celebration, I call every leader, trainer, missionary, student, intercessor, and partner to enter this year with:
• Deeper consecration – “Present your bodies a living sacrifice” (Rom. 12:1)
• Renewed hunger for Christlikeness – “Until Christ is formed in you” (Gal. 4:19)
• Fresh obedience to finish the Great Commission – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:19)
• Apostolic humility and unity – guarding the vision entrusted to us (Acts 20:24)

The anniversary will be a moment of thanksgiving, yes—but also a moment of recommissioning. We believe the Lord will speak clearly, align us afresh, and send us forward with greater clarity, authority, and compassion.

Closing Exhortation

Beloved, this Movement was never meant to become comfortable, institutional, or self-preserving. It was birthed for Christlikeness and the nations. As we enter 2026, may we be found faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to us—“holding fast the pattern of sound words” and “finishing the task the Lord Jesus has given us” (2 Tim. 1:13; Acts 20:24).
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He deepen His work in you.
And may He use us together to glorify Christ among the nations.

With apostolic burden and pastoral love,
